Two burglars steal safe, wine and such

“On May 20, 2022, a burglary was reported on the 500 block of Main Street in Weaverville, CA. The suspects entered the establishment through a crawl space, and stole a safe, wine and a variety of other items.

Deputies began investigating the matter and after several days, were able to identify the suspects as John Jenkins and Bradley Dillard.

In the following days, numerous Search Warrants were served in the hopes of locating the suspects as well as evidence associated with the crime.

Although the Search Warrants yielded the discovery of evidence, only one of the suspects, Jenkins, was located and arrested. Jenkins remains in custody at the Trinity County Jail.

Dillard is a transient who frequents Trinity County and Shasta County, he remains outstanding.

Anyone having information pertaining to Dillard’s whereabouts, is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 530-623-8126.
