LOCAL RIVERSIDE DRUG DEALER ARRESTED

“Recently, our Narcotics Unit learned of a person who was suspected of selling Xanax bars from his residence in the 1600 block of La Cadena Drive in Riverside. Detectives initiated an investigation and obtained a search warrant for the house. Last Thursday on March 17th, they served the search warrant and detained the primary suspect, 63-year-old Ricky Jay Mitchell.

As a result of their search and investigation, detectives found over 1100 Xanax bars, 1 ounce of suspected heroin, and 8 grams of suspected rock cocaine base inside Mr. Mitchell’s house. He was arrested and later booked into jail for possession of illegal narcotics with intent to sell. He has since been released on $50,000 bail.
