“AMERICAN CANYON, Calif., March 21, 2022, 10 AM – On Sunday, March 20, 2022, just before 8:00 PM, American Canyon Police (ACPD) Officers were dispatched to a report of a carjacking at The Lodge at Napa Junction Apartments, 5500 Eucalyptus Drive.
Officers contacted the female victim, who stated she had a Door Dash delivery at this location but could not locate the apartment number she had been dispatched to. The victim had been in contact with the alleged patron.
They gave her a location in the parking lot of the complex to meet for the food delivery after not being able to locate the apartment number provided. The victim was approached by a tall, thin, black male adult wearing a face covering.
The male pointed a handgun at the victim’s head. He then took her car keys and cell phone from her hands. The male got into the victim’s 2019 silver Nissan SUV and drove off out of the area at a high rate of speed. Officers are continuing to follow up on leads.
