“Placer County Sheriff’s deputies served a warrant in cooperation with Placer County probation officers at a residence in Foresthill, on February 19th.

There, deputies found a room full of syringes, dozens of used pieces of tin foil with heroin residue, marijuana, and smoking pipes in plain view. Living conditions inside the home were deplorable with moldy food, feces, urine, and garbage strewn around.

Deputies determined there were two young children living in the home with access to the drugs, syringes, paraphernalia, and hazardous living conditions. The investigation also revealed several stolen vehicles and trailers on the property.

The resident of the motorhome, 39-year-old Daniel Pierce, was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, being a convicted felon in possession of ammunition, and his two warrants.

Two additional residents, 59-year-old John Atchley and 26-year-old Terrance Atchley, were arrested for child endangerment. John Atchley was also arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, and Terrance Atchley was arrested for his felony warrant.”
