San Francisco man accused of attempted murder in Mission Street shooting

San Francisco police have arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder in connection to a shooting in late January.

In the very early hours of January 29th, officers responded to a reported shooting on the 2000 block of Mission Street. There they found a 39-year-old man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, and had him transported to an area hospital. His injuries were not life-threatening, police said.

Investigators were soon able to identify 27-year-old Mario Ramirez, of San Francisco, as the primary suspect.

Ramirez was located and arrested on Saturday, February 12th, and booked on suspicion of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and carrying a concealed firearm, among other charges.
