“On January 9, 2022, at approximately 4:00 p.m., deputies from Kern Valley were dispatched to the 2600 block of Rembach Avenue in Bodfish to a report of a burglary in progress.

During the investigation, deputies located an illegal unregistered firearm, drug paraphernalia, and illegal narcotics. Deputies detained several subjects and authored a search warrant for the property. During their search, deputies located additional illegal narcotics, narcotic paraphernalia, and an additional firearm.

Viktor Chununov, (age 32) from Los Angeles, Jason Silva, (age 40) from Canoga Park, and Katya Skerczak, (age 32) from Canoga Park, were arrested and booked into the Kern County Jail for possession of a controlled substance while armed, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Shannon Rhodes, (age 34) from Woodland Hills, was arrested and booked into the Kern County Jail for possession of a controlled substance while armed and possession of a controlled substance.

Jeffrey Rythenbeck, (age 55) from Moreno Del Rey, was arrested and booked into the Kern County Jail for possession of a controlled substance while armed, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of a controlled substance.
