Deputies Respond to Assault Call Leading to the Arrest of Bonnie Couch

“On Tuesday, January 04, 2022, at approximately 6:15 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a report of an assault that occurred in the 140000 block of Wintun Trail. Through investigation, it was determined the suspect, Bonnie Couch hit the victim with a heavy object causing a large laceration.

Suspect Couch tried to flee the scene but was located by deputies a short time later. Couch was consequently arrested for PC 273.5(a), Felony Spousal Abuse. Couch was transported and booked at the Colorado River Station jail with a bail amount of $50,000. Couch remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department awaiting a court hearing. ”
