Bakersfield police have announced the arrests of five people in connection to a recent shooting on Castleford Street.

On the night of December 19th, 2021, two adults and a 16-year-old juvenile were the victims of a shooting on the 6300 block of Castleford Street. Shortly thereafter, the suspects’ vehicle broke down along westbound Highway 58, west of Union Avenue. There, police arrested the five suspects — identified as Yazmin Walker (24), Jerrell Hubbard (19), Huey Conerly (19), Michael Webber (21), and Daveon Davis (21). Three firearms were also recovered.
