A man was recently arrested in Solano County after allegedly being caught driving a stolen trailer-truck containing over $250,000 in stolen merchandise, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Around 2 AM on December 19, CHP officers conducted a felony stop on a stolen trailor-truck along I-80 at Travis Boulevard at the Cordelia Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility. The driver, identified as 30-year-old Ronald Edward Stevens, was taken into custody without incident, police said.

Authorities then searched the trailer and reportedly found bulk freight items including various wines and alcohol, Columbia brand clothing, and equipment, the value of which is estimated to exceed $250,000.

Stevens was ultimately booked on multiple felony charges related to cargo theft and possession of stolen property.
