Two booked on miscellaneous charges after fight in downtown Petaluma

Police reportedly arrested two people following an alleged fight in downtown Petaluma.

27-year-old Luis Solorio and 23-year-old Ali Ruiz were arrested just after 12 AM on December 18 on the 100 block of Kentucky Street. The two had gotten into a fight and one of them had been armed with a knife, police said.

Ruiz was arrested for obstruction after allegedly refusing to comply with officers, and Solorio was ultimately booked on suspicion of brandishing a knife and violation of probation.
