Petaluma man accused of assaulting man, stealing mobile phone

“On August 13th, 2021, at approximately 2:40 PM, the Petaluma Police Department responded to the report of a robbery on Hopper Street near Shamrock Materials.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim, who reported [Frederick] Jones assaulted him and stole his cellular phone.   The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries to his face, and he was transported to the hospital for medical treatment.

Petaluma Officers later located Jones at an encampment off Lakeville Street and arrested him for the 211 PC – Robbery.   Jones was transported and booked at the Sonoma County Jail.”
