A neighbor in the area noticed subjects in a house. The neighbor attempted to contact the subjects in the residence.
Two subjects fled from the residence on foot prior to the Officer’s arrival. Officers were able to locate 28-year- old Falina Grell, of Sonora, hiding behind a business in the area.
Grell was ultimately identified as being in the residence. Grell was taken into custody without further incident.
A second male has been identified as a suspect in this case. This is an active investigation and no further information about the second subject will be released at this time.
We would like to remind our community that if you see anything suspicious to notify Law Enforcement immediately. Please do not attempt to handle a situation on your own for your and the communities safety.”
