A Ukiah man has been arrested on suspicion of stabbing his younger brother to death, according to the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office.

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 19, Ukiah Police officers and Sheriff’s deputies responded to a second-story apartment on the 100 block of Laws Avenue, where they found 30-year-old Jordan Luna dead of apparent stab wounds.

Jordan’s older brother, Jeremiah (38), was detained at the apartment. As Sheriff’s detectives began conducting follow-up investigations, they reportedly gathered sufficient evidence pointing to Jeremiah as the primary suspect.

Jeremiah, who is also on parole, was ultimately arrested on suspicion of murder and booked on $500,000 bail.
