San Francisco Police Make Arrest in Tenderloin Homicide

A shooting occurred at Eddy and Mason Streets on January 7th at 10:53 pm. Arriving officers discovered a 37-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim “was pronounced deceased at the scene.”

The ensuing investigation named 41-year-old James George as the shooter. George was taken into custody on January 9th at 7th and Market Streets.

George was booked on charges of homicide, felon in possession of a firearm, assault with a deadly weapon and battery.
