Rapper DaBaby arrested in Beverly Hills on suspicion of carrying a loaded firearm

29-year-old Jonathan Kirk, widely known as rapper/singer/songwriter DaBaby, has reportedly been arrested in Beverly Hills.
According to TMZ, Kirk and his entourage were out shopping on Rodeo Drive on Thursday, January 7th. As they were about to drive away, multiple police cars surrounded the vehicle and officers detained the whole crew.
Officers had responded to the area after receiving a report via phone call that DaBaby and his crew were armed. When they searched the vehicle, officers found one handgun.
DaBaby was ultimately arrested on suspicion of carrying a loaded firearm, which is a misdemeanor. The rest of the crew were released at the scene.
