Sacramento man with active felony warrant accused of burglarizing van in Folsom

“On Saturday morning just after 4:00 a.m., FPD officers were called to the 100 block of Boxler Circle for the report of a vehicle being broken into. An alert citizen spotted someone rummaging through a van in a neighbor’s driveway before fleeing in a convertible, Toyota Solara. Officers located and stopped the Solara near the reported crime.

26 year old, Roman Voronyy of Sacramento, was detained and found be on probation for a prior conviction of possessing stolen property. Voronnyy also had a felony warrant out of Placer County for identity theft. During a search of the vehicle, officers located over $5,000 worth of stolen property. Officers also learned the vehicle Voronnyy was contacted in had just been stolen less than an hour earlier, from another location in the City of Folsom.

Voronyy was booked into the Sacramento County Main jail for multiple felony charges including burglary and vehicle theft.”
