“At about 1:30 p.m. today, an observant citizen called police to report a suspicious person who might be involved with drugs while sitting in a car in the 700 block of Grand Ave. Officers arrived and contacted the person, identified as James S. Heinrichs, 58, of Grover Beach.
The officer’s investigation discovered Mr. Heinrichs to be in possession of Marijuana for Sale, Possession of Oxycontin for Sale, Possession of Methamphetamine for Sale, Transporting Marijuana, Oxycontin and Methamphetamine for Sale, Possession of a Loaded Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
Mr. Heinrichs was arrested and booked into county jail. Officers recovered approximately 4.5 pounds of Marijuana, over 85 grams of Methamphetamine and numerous Oxycontin pills, plus one loaded .22 caliber pistol.
