Man arrested for rape and intimidation

A sexual assault suspect was arrested in Sonora recently according to the Sonora Police Department –

“37-year-old Harland Joseph Bordeau of Sonora was arrested on Friday evening for suspicion of forceable rape and intimidating a crime victim.

On Thursday, April 23rd, our department received a call regarding a sexual assault that occurred just days prior.

During the subsequent investigation, we learned that Bordeau physically restrained and raped a female victim in her thirties at a residence in Sonora.

He also threatened the victim to dissuade her from reporting the incident. The victim and suspect were known to each other but did not have a dating relationship.”
