The Kern County Sheriff’s Office issued this press release about a drug bust –

“On April 9, 2020, deputies from the Kern Valley Substation conducted a probation search in the 15000 block of Kelso Avenue. During the search deputies located:
—329 grams of suspected methamphetamine, with an approximate value of $2,900.
—43.9 grams of heroin, with an approximate value of $1,800.
—21.9 grams of mushrooms
—Scales and other narcotic paraphernalia, along with $739 in cash.
51-year-old Lewis Kallas was arrested and booked into the Central Receiving Facility for drug charges.”
