The Kings County Sheriff’s Office announced to the public the discovery of three illegal marijuana grow sites on a property –

“On 4/1/2020 members of the Kings County Swat, Major Crimes, and Rural Crimes units executed a search warrant at 24023 5 1/2 Avenue for illegal marijuana grows.

Located on the property was 3 separate grows which housed over 520 marijuana plants. The marijuana plants were removed and destroyed at completion of the search warrant.

Two suspects were arrested and charged with cultivation of marijuana. The owner of the property, Susan Brewington, was charged with 11358 H&S.

A second suspect, Lorent Espinoza, who was located on the property and admitted to growing the marijuana was also arrested for 11358H.

The estimated street value of the marijuana seized at this location was worth approximately $ 520,000.”
