Search warrant at illegal dispensary leads to four arrests in La Mesa

The execution of a search warrant at an illegal La Mesa marijuana dispensary in late December has led to the arrests of four individuals and the seizure of over $30,000 in illegal products.

In a press release dated December 30, officials say that after detectives cleared the dispensary, local police were alerted that someone said they’d been robbed at the dispensary.

A Special Investigation Unit detective who was still in the area located four subjects loading up the trunk of their car. Additional units responded.

It was soon determined that not only had the subjects robbed the individual, but they’d broken into the dispensary and stolen all the non-illegal products. Two guns, one of which had been reported stolen, were also found in the car.

The four subjects were taken to jail.
