Man on felony probation caught with suspected heroin, paraphernalia

A Mendocino County man on active felony probation has been arrested after reportedly being caught with suspected heroin and paraphernalia during a traffic stop last week.

Around 11:15 AM on Wednesday, December 4, deputies pulled a vehicle over for a traffic violation on the 400 block of South Main Street in Fort Bragg and noticed 30-year-old Clinton Henry Sallee, whom they knew to be on probation, sitting in the back seat.

Deputies conducted a search of Sallee’s person, pursuant to the stipulations of his probation, and discovered several items in his backpack commonly used for ingesting controlled substances as well as suspected heroin.

Sallee was arrested on suspicion of probation violation, possession of heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia, and was booked a the Mendocino County Jail.
