Police release name of Vacaville woman allegedly stabbed to death by son

The Vacaville Police Departments has released the identity of the Vacaville woman believed to have been murdered by her son, 21-year-old Shane Riley.
Riley was placed under arrest and booked into custody at the county jail. The District Attorney’s office intend to file homicide charges against him in the death of his mother.
The victim is identified Riley’s mother, 59-year-old Germaine Riley.
Ms. Riley found stabbed to death at the home she shared with her son on the 900 block of Rio Grande Drive on the morning of Thursday, October 31.
