“Supernatural” star Jared Padalecki arrested in Austin, TX

Actor Jared Padelecki,  has reportedly been arrested following an incident of public drunkenness and assault outside a lounge in Austin, Texas.

TMZ reports that the actor was arrested early Sunday morning outside Stereotype, a lounge he is known to frequent, and that he faces two counts of assault and one count of public intoxication.

Witnesses reportedly said Padalecki had punched one of the lounge’s bartender in the face, then put his own friend in a headlock when he took Padalecki outside and tried to calm him down.

Padalecki, 37, is best known for his lead role as Sam Winchester in the hit television series “Supernatural,” with other notable roles in “Gilmore Girls” and the horror films “House of Wax” and “Friday the 13th.”
