Lassen County authorities eradicate three illegal marijuana cultivation sites

LASSEN COUNTY — The Sheriff’s Office has announced the discovery and eradication of three illegal marijuana cultivation operations as of last Friday.

Personnel from the Sheriff’s Office, Department of Fish & Wildlife, US Forest Service, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, and Lassen County Code Enforcement executed three search warrants at residences in Milford and Doyle after learning they’d been used as large-scale, illegal marijuana cultivation sites.

At the Milford site, a total of 386 plants were located, as well as several bins of processed marijuana and an unregistered firearm.

At a second location on Doyle Grade, officials located 153 plants. At the third site, 269.

The seized marijuana totaled approximately 7,980 pounds.
