Wasco home invasion suspects arrested

WASCO — The Kern County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of three suspects in an armed home invasion robbery that occurred on Wednesday, September 4.

Four people, three of whom were armed with tactical rifles and one with a handgun, forced their way into a home on the 3700 block of 7th Street, tied up the residents, and made off with cash and property.

On Friday, September 6th, deputies served a search warrant at a residence on the 900 block of Tangerine Street, where they recovered property related to the robbery as well as multiple guns.

Three suspects — Jose Sanchez (24), Leonardo Sanchez (20), and Anna Salazar (20), all of Bakersfield — were arrested and charged on suspicion of robbery, maintaining a drug house, conspiracy, marijuana sales, and receiving / possession of stolen property.
