GLENDORA – Officers gave immediate response to a late Saturday-night stabbing incident at a small, local bar named “Our Space.” The 240 E. Route 66 hangout fully cooperated with the Glendora PD Officers managing the scene on August 3rd.

Upon their arrival, the suspect was nowhere in sight, and evidence collection and witness interviews ensued.

Investigation as to the identity and whereabouts of the suspect took place all day Sunday, and into the night. Late Sunday, Detectives located their man – Aaron Beierschmitt (33) of Riverside – who was convinced to turn himself in.

The Post-Release Community Supervision suspect was arrested without incident. On August 6th, the Los Angeles District Attorney received the case and Beierschmitt was charged with Attempted Murder as well as Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

Glendora PD issued the following kudos, “Excellent work by our Patrol staff and Investigations Division getting a dangerous suspect off the street in less than 24 hours. Special thanks to Azusa PD for assisting at the crime scene during the initial stages of the investigation.”

Beierschmitt is safely locked away on $1,080,000 bail.
