On Monday May 6th Anthony Johnson, former UFC star, was again arrested for domestic violence. He admitted to getting physical with his girlfriend during an argument.
Apparently the woman started packing Johnson’s belongings in an effort to throw him out of the house. Johnson objected and “put her in a football hold” and forcefully carried her into another room.
Arriving law enforcement officers reported no visible wounds on the woman.
35-year-old Johnson said that he did indeed pick the woman up and carry her, but said that it was because he did not want to argue anymore.
For his part in the trouble, Johnson was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence.
In another incident in 2009, Johnson was arrested for domestic violence that involved an ex-girlfriend. He pled no contest to that charge.
