HOLLISTER – After more than 4 years, an arrest has been made in the 2014 homicide of Raul De La Rosa.  On December 23 2014, Hollister Police Department officers, along with personnel from the Hollister Fire Department, responded to a medical aid call in the 2000 block of Scenic Circle. Upon their arrival, they discovered a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Lifesaving efforts were attempted, however the man, later identified as 28-year-old Raul De La Rosa succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased.

On Sunday April 21st 2019, 32-year-old Christopher Larios entered the lobby of the Hollister Police Department and “stated that he desired to make a statement” about the shooting.
