SANTA CLARA COUNTY – The SCCSO announced the arrest of an attempted murder suspect. The suspect stabbed and shot an individual during an argument that occurred on Laumer Avenue in Unincorporated Santa Clara County.

A call came into the Sheriff’s Office on September 24 of a male wandering the neighborhood covered in blood.  Consequently, Paramedics and Deputies went to the area and located the victim.  He reported to Deputies about a fight that led to his gunshot and stabbing wounds.

Furthermore, the victim named 31-year-old Dandre Hill as his attacker.  With non-life threatening injuries, the victim is expected to make a full recovery.

After the report around 5:30 PM, responding San Jose Police and Sheriff’s Department Deputies patrolling the areas found Hill driving in North San Jose around 10:00 PM that evening.

“The quick apprehension of this dangerous suspect was possible only through teamwork and the strong determination of my staff to protect the Community,” said Sheriff Laurie Smith.

Therefore, after his booking, Hill faces the charge of Attempted Murder.
