UKIAH – On June 6 a nephew stabbed his uncle at a residence in the 700 block of Lake Mendocino Drive.
25-year-old Harley James Patton wielded the knife that injured his 70-year-old uncle.
Medical personnel flew the victim from the driveway to an out-of-county hospital. Meanwhile, deputies contacted Patton near the residence on the same road.
Evidently a fight ensued within the trailer between the two individuals that resulted in numerous stab wounds.
Patton’s charges include attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and elder abuse with great bodily injury. His bail is $200,000.
