ADELANTO – He used colorful hair bows as bait in an attempt to contact minors for the purpose of sex. Now authorities wonder if he has been successful in doing so in the past.
Google sent a cyber tip to the Crimes Against Children Unit on April 24. The tip “contained images and video of child pornography.”
Investigators named 27-year-old Juan Beltran as their suspect. On May 11 they entered a business in the 1600 block of Main Street in Hesperia and arrested Beltran.
The SBSD charged Beltran with possession of child pornography and contacting a minor to commit sex acts.
The SBSD notes that they released Beltran’s mugshot in case additional victims come forward.
They add, “Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact Deputy Brian Arias of the Crimes Against Children Detail at (909) 387-3615.”
