Vigilant Parent Discovers Cellphone Evidence of Soccer Coach’s Affair With Her Child

VICTORVILLE – Deputies responded to a call by a mortified mother who found text messages on her 15-year-old daughter’s cellphone regarding an affair with her club soccer coach.

For his sex crimes against the child, Victorville PD arrested soccer coach Victor Rodriguez, a 25-year old Victorville resident on May 8th in the 14300 block of McArt Road, Victorville at 9:41 PM.

Investigators learned that the anonymous child victim and the suspect Victor Rodriguez had been involved in the relationship for over a year.

San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department announced today, “Rodriguez was detained at his home and transported to the Victorville Police Department where he was interviewed. Rodriguez was subsequently arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for sodomy, lewd and lascivious acts with a child, and oral copulation. He is scheduled to appear in Victorville Superior Court on May 11, 2018.”
