WILLOWS – Early on Tuesday morning a GCSO deputy paid a visit to 30-year-old Juan Medina for a records check. The visit ended up revealing that Medina had several active warrants out on him from Glenn county.

The deputy discovered plastic baggies of meth in the house and heroin in Medina’s possession.

Medina was taken to jail, not only for the pending warrants already out on him, but also on “fresh narcotic charges.”

A subsequent search warrant of the residence at 1150 Glenn Street produced the following take –

  • a quarter pound of meth
  • 4 pounds of marijuana
  • packaging material and scales
  • ammunition
  • paraphernalia

Medina was charged with possession of meth for sale, possession of paraphernalia, maintaining a residence for narcotics use, felon in possession of ammunition, possession of heroin, committing a felony while out on bail and possession of marijuana for sale.

The GCSO calls Medina a “career criminal who has been arrested in Glenn County in the past year five different times for crimes involving firearms, theft and narcotics.”
