HOLLISTER // Since identifying him as the primary suspect in a sexual assault that occurred in downtown Hollister late last year, police have been seeking the whereabouts of 31-year-old Cory Daugherty.
After two press releases and a lengthy investigation, Daugherty was at last located and arrested in Santa Clara County. He was transferred to the San Benito County Jail and has been arraigned in court as of March 6th.
He remains in custody on charges of forcible rape, assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, and additional undisclosed allegations. His bail has been set to $130,000.
