MT. SHASTA // On November 10th just before 11 AM, officers on patrol on High Street found a 1998 Dodge Intrepid that turned out to be stolen.

With the assistance of the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office, police spoke with three residents of the home — one of whom identified himself as Justin Sudbury. When police couldn’t connect the car to anyone at the house, they had it towed.

Later, an inventory search of the car turned up a driver’s license belonging to 32-year-old Jesse Donnelly Adams, who bore a striking resemblance to a man named Justin Sudbury whom they’d met earlier.

Adams had quite the criminal record and was currently wanted by the Washington Department of Corrections after escaping custody in Marysville, WA.

Authorities returned to the house and, while Sudbury was nowhere to be found, Adams was found nearby and arrested without incident.
