Armed Robbery at GameStop

COSTA MESA – On Thursday night at 10 pm an armed trio robbed the GameStop store at 2200 Harbor Boulevard.

Two of the men entered the store and robbed it, and then fled in a car driven by the third man.

Witnesses gave a description of the car and officers soon spotted it on Harbor Boulevard. During the pursuit the car crashed into another one and caused minor injuries to the driver of that car.

After the crash the three suspects ran in different directions.  22-year-old Erick Johnson was soon caught and arrested, as was 30-year-old Dino Kenneth Joseph.

The third suspect, 23-year-old Johnnie Lee Taylor ran into an apartment complex on the 500 block of West Wilson Street.  With the assistance of K-9 unit and helicopter crews, Taylor was discovered hiding in a car on West Wilson Street.

All three were charged with burglary, robbery, conspiracy and evading.
