COVELO // On September 6th just after 6 PM, Mendocino County Sheriff’s Deputies were contacted by Round Valley Tribal PD officers in regards to a trespassing call on the 22100 block of South Airport Road.

RVTP had apparently spoken with one Bruce Dankemeyer (53) and had also found “equipment at the property that they believed could be a clandestine lab.”

Responding Sheriff’s Deputies determined that this was not the case. However, RVTP officers found Dankemeyer to be in possession of a firearm, ammuntion, controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia — the first two of which he is specifically prohibited from owning.

Dankemeyer was arrested and booked on multiple possession charges related to his status as a “prohibited person.”

He is housed at the Mendocino County Jail on $25,000 bond.
