San Jose Police Reporting 19th homicide of the year

SAN JOSE — The San Jose Police Department has reported the death of 39-year-old Cesar Paguada as a homicide. According to San Jose Police Sergeant Enrique Garcia, “On Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at approximately 9:09 PM, San Jose police officers responded to a person shot in the 1900 block of Story Road.”

Garcia said, “The motive or circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation.” Paguada was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased after succumbing to his injuries.

The death of Paguada marks the city’s 19h declared homicide of the year.
