Fontana PD’s ICAC Arrests Buena Park School Board President for Child Pornography Distribution

BUENA PARK – Fontana Police announced yesterday that their ICAC Task Force served a search warrant on April 19th at Dennis Brian Chamber’s residence in the 8000 block of Taylor St. in the City of Buena Park.

Their search of the residence revealed thousands of child pornographic videos and images in an electronic storage device. Chambers was arrested at the residence and later booked at the Santa Ana Central Jail.

Chambers was found to be the current President of the Buena Park School District School Board.

Over the past 6 months, the Fontana Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) Detectives have worked in conjunction with the Flathead, Montana County Sheriff’s Department’s ICAC Task Force regarding a group of individuals distributing child pornography over the Internet.

Investigators captured several child pornographic videos and images from various members of the group. FPD ICAC Detectives determined the suspect, Dennis Brian Chambers trafficked child pornography in the City of Fontana.

Fontana detectives have no further information regarding the ongoing high-profile case. Chambers will be charged within 48 hours and either the District Attorney or the U. S. Attorney’s Office will be presenting the case.

Fontana Police Chief Robert Ramsey said that ICAC was formed in January of 2016 in response to the increasing number of Internet-related crimes against children that the department had been discovering, to address the increasing number of child pornography distribution cases through the evolving use of technology.

The task force is an affiliate of the Los Angeles Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, which falls under the umbrella of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Corporal Jeremy Hale and Officer Marcia Pineda were honored for their work with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit.
