Brazen truck thieves wanted by police

Suspect #1

MOUNTAIN VIEW– The Mountain View Police Department is asking its residents to help identify a young man and woman seen in surveillance footage before stealing a truck from a gas station on March 14, 2017.

According to MVPD, “Around 5 pm, the pair pictured below stole a 2002 Ford F150 truck from the Valero gas station, located on the 300 block of San Antonio Road.”

Suspect #2

Before the truck was taken, the pair were seen inside the gas station choosing items and then heading out of the lobby area and jumping into a truck.  Once inside they quickly drove off toward the southbound lane of San Antonio Road, avoiding traffic in the area.

A description provided by police describe the female suspect as of unknown age, tall and lean with brown hair, and last seen wearing sweatpants, a maroon-colored shirt and sandals.

The male suspect is also an unknown age, also tall and lean. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white logo on the front and black jeans.

In a twitter feed, MVPD stated that they were looking for the two suspects.  The twitter account reads, “Hey, Mountain View, do you recognize these two? They stole a truck this week, and we need your help identifying them.”  https://twitter.com/i/web/status/842066987677233152
