REDDING — Authorities recently served a search warrant on the home of a suspected heroin dealer who had a child in his care.

Heroin and drug paraphernalia were found next to the child’s bed in her room, and both parents admitted to smoking meth and heroin with the child in the same room. She has been placed in foster care.
