LOS ANGELES — Police are seeking the public’s assistance in the investigation of a fatal stabbing which occurred on December 6th.

On that day at around 8:30 PM, officers responded to a report from an area hospital of a suspected case of assault with a deadly weapon. Officers discovered the victim, described only as a 21-year-old Hispanic male, had been dropped off at the ER with a single stab wound. He passed away shortly thereafter.

Preliminary investigation revealed that he’d been dropped off by potential witnesses, whom officers are now seeking to interview as they hadn’t provided a statement at the time.

Anyone with information that may lead to more information or a possible arrest are encouraged to contact LAPD Valley Bureau Homicide Detective John Doerbecker at 818-374-1943.
