Gas Station Stabbing Nets Two Arrests

SANTA ANA – 42-year-old Concepcion Estrella Perez and 38-year-old Lisa Marie Herrera were arrested on Monday and charged with attempted murder.

The incident occurred at 9:00 PM on Monday at the Chevron gas station on the 1100 block of South Bristol.  Once police arrived, they discovered a 53-year-old male who had been stabbed in the upper torso.

The victim had been a part of a verbal and physical event with two other males and a female.

Patrol officers were able to quickly identify the license plate from the suspect’s vehicle via video surveillance.  The car was a black 1998 Mercedes C230.

Officers saw and stopped the car at the corner of Bristol and Central.  Suspect Perez still had the knife on him.

While Perez and Herrera were arrested and booked, a third unidentified male suspect is still on the loose.  He is described as a Hispanic male, 5’8″-5’10”, weighing 140-160 lbs.
