Madera Man Arrested for Megan’s Law Violation

An arrest was made in Madera involving a convicted sex offender.

According to the official report released by the Madera County Department of Corrections, 56-year-old Jesse Frausto was brought in by MCDC officers when he failed to change his address as a sex offender last Monday. The arrest was made early in the afternoon.

Megan’s Law requires all convicted sex offenders to register whenever they move, though information on Frausto’s previous conviction was unavailable. Frausto’s bail was posted at $25,000.
