Madera Field Worker Arrested for Attempted Murder

An arrest was made on Wednesday in Madera following what appears to be an incident of gang-related violence. According to the official media report released by the Madera County Department of Corrections, Emilio Hernandez (21) was apprehended on a re-arrest/revoking of probation, attempted murder, and promoting criminal street gang activity. The arrest was made by officers with the Madera Police Department.

According to the report, Hernandez is a field worker in Madera. The name of the gang in which he is allegedly involved has not been specified. Currently, Hernandez is being held on a bail of $1,040,000. If convicted, he could face a sentence of 25 years to life in a state prison.
