Los Angeles Laborer Gets Drug Charges

INGLEWOOD, CA—If one is going to drive around with drugs and drug paraphernalia, having no license plates and not stopping at red lights is not the way to go.

Quentin Lynn Davis, 37, was stopped by Inglewood police officers on Wednesday, November 5 at approximately 2:20 p.m. at the intersection of 117th Street and Lemoli Avenue in Inglewood—just a few blocks from the unincorporated are of Lennox and immediately north of the 105 freeway.

It appears the Los Angeles laborer was stopped for failing to stop at a STOP sign or red light (22450(A)VC), and thereafter followed a number of violations. He was popped for felony possession of a controlled substance (11377(A)HS), possession of 28 ounces or more of marijuana (11357(B)HS) and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell (11378HS).

There were also two outstanding warrant that were reported: a one from Hawthorne PD for failure to appear under written promise to do so (40508(A)VC) and the second from Long Beach PD for having no front or rear plates on a motor vehicle (5200(A)VC).

Total bail for the two warrants and four new charges was set at $51,356.
