The Sacramento County sheriff’s Department has reportedly arrested four suspects in connection to the stabbing death of a 41-year-old man last week, according to an official press release.
Sebastian Flores Torres, 21, and three male juveniles were reportedly arrested this past weekend for stabbing a teenage victim and two uninvolved adults males who had come to the teen’s aid during the attach. Torres is reportedly currently being held at the Sacramento County Main Jail without the possibility of bail, and the three juvenile suspects were reportedly booked into Juvenile Hall.
According to Sac Sheriff, on Wednesday, March 12 at approximately 6:30 pm, patrol deputies responded to a call of a stabbing at the 2300 block of Wyda Way. Upon arrival, deputies determined there were three victims with stab wounds from the altercation — two adult males aged 41 and 29, and one male juvenile.
Reportedly all three victims were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment however, one of the adults — Shannon Gregg, 41 — reportedly later died from the injuries he sustained from the altercation. The other two victims reportedly remain in stable condition.
According to Sac Sheriff, information gathered from multiple witnesses suggest a group of suspected gang members targeted the male juvenile and followed him to a residence on Wyda Way, where they initiated a fight and stabbed him. Two uninvolved adult males reportedly came to the aid of the juvenile victim and were also stabbed. The suspects then reportedly fled the scene.
