2 Washington Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Carrying Pot, Weapons

The California Highway Patrol arrested two Washington residents Thursday afternoon after allegedly finding 30 pounds of marijuana in their vehicle.

A CHP K-9 unit officer patrolling southbound U.S. Highway 101 near Canyon Road in Geyserville saw a Dodge truck with tinted front windows around 2:50 p.m.

When the officer stopped the truck, the driver, Luke Crosthwaite, 32, and passenger, Dulce Encinas, 30, both of Republic, Wash., appeared nervous, CHP officer Jon Sloat said.
