Elk Grove PD Arrest Coach for Sexting with Teen

The Elk Grove Police Department have reportedly arrested a youth coach for sending inappropriate text messages to a 16-year-old girl, according to an official press release.

Anthony Mosley was reportedly a personally coach hired by parents to help kids in track and football.

Anthony Mosley, 48, was reportedly arrested on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, and charged with distribution or exhibition of lewd material to a minor and communicating with a minor with intent to commit a sex offense. He is currently in custody at the Sacramento County Main Jail and is being held on $150,000 bail.

According to the Elk Grove PD, during their investigation officers reportedly determined Mosley had engaged in sending in appropriate text messages — including a photo of a sexual nature — to the 16-year-old victim.

Mosley trained out of the Hal Bartholomew Sports Park, adjacent to Franklin High School.

According to detectives, as Mosley was actively training and coaching youth at Bartholomew Sports Park, at this time it is unknown if there are additional victims. The Elk Grove PD is asking anyone with information regarding this crime or any knowledge of additional victims to call the police department at 916-478-8060.
